Belarus’ Deputy PM on results of meeting at INTEGRAL JSC: keeping up with the times

Belarusian microelectronics products meet all global requirements in terms of price and quality and are serious competitors in the world market – as noted by Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich after today’s meeting at INTEGRAL JSC with the participation of President Aleksandr Lukashenko

The Deputy PM, in particular, noted, “A programme until 2030 has been approved at the government level, which envisages the allocation of funds for the implementation of investment projects. There are seven projects, one of which has already been realised. The goal is to optimise project implementation timeframe as much as possible and ensure optimal spending of funds. The programme provides for the development of new types of equipment, products and technologies for microelectronics. Eventually, it will be possible to produce microchips with design standards of up to 180 nanometres and create conditions for manufacturing equipment for the corresponding production process.”

Mr. Karankevich emphasised that the demand for microelectronics products in the world is growing, “And we have to keep up with the times as much as possible and ensure the implementation of projects to produce those products that will be in demand both in our market and in other countries. Belarusian microelectronics products meet all global requirements in terms of price and quality and are serious competitors in the world market.”
