Belarus’ Defence Ministry: up to 32,000 NATO troops concentrated in EU
The European Union continues to build up its armed forces, with up to 32,000 NATO troops being already concentrated there – as noted by Chief of the International Military Co-operation Department, Assistant to the Defence Minister for Foreign Military Co-operation Valery Revenko, sb.by reports with reference to the VoenTV television company
“Certain EU countries and the United States are forming a negative information position and information policy towards our state. The buildup of their armed forces continues. We can already see up to 32,000 troops from both the United States and NATO members in the European Union, in the European region,” Valery Revenko noted in an interview with VoenTV .
“Belarus also sees the militarisation of Poland, the processes that allow us to say that ‘Lithuania and Latvia are ready to receive a large contingent of foreign troops, and all this is taking place near the borders of the Republic of Belarus’,” he added.
