Belarus’ Council of Ministers approved work plan for H1 2023

A work plan of the Council of Ministers and the Presidium of the Council of Ministers for the first half of 2023 was approved by Government Resolution No. 976 as of December 30, 2022, the National Legal Internet Portal reports

The Council of Ministers’ sessions will study issues of the 2022 results of Belarus’ socio-economic development, as well as those demonstrated in the period from January-March 2023.

The document also lists a number of issues to be considered at meetings of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers. The results of the work dealing with the employment of citizens, the identification of hidden taxes, the fight against drug trafficking will be discussed. The Government will also study the readiness of agricultural organisations for spring fieldwork. In addition, the results of state support in 2022, work on the effective use of innovative funds over the past year will be discussed. Other issues will include the strategy of the petrochemical complex development until 2030.

The Presidium of the Council of Ministers will also consider the conceptual foundations of the forecast of Belarus’ socio-economic development in 2024 and until 2026, the guidelines of the country's fiscal and tax policy in 2024 and mid-term.
