Belarus and IOM confirm interest in further co-operation

Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Aleinik, has met with the Representative of the International Organisation for Migration in the Republic of Belarus, Mahym Orazmuhammedova – as informed by the Foreign Ministry’s press service

The sides discussed Belarus' co-operation with the IOM within the framework of the organisation's programme activities. Among the issues on the agenda were border management, assistance to voluntary return of migrants and providing them with necessary aid, including medical care.

Further development of these and other areas of interaction was agreed upon.
