Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia took part in opening of Foundations of Great Victory exhibition in Russian State Duma
Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik has taken part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War – Foundations of the Great Victory – at the invitation of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), head of the party’s faction in Russia’s State Duma Gennady Zyuganov, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian diplomatic mission’s press service
The exhibition is organised by the Communist Party faction and was attended by representatives of the leadership of all factions of the Russian State Duma.
“In his speech, Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik noted that the memory of the heroic deed of the Soviet people, who won the Great Patriotic War, is sacred, recalled the huge sacrifices made during the war years and spoke of the ongoing work to establish the facts of the genocide of the Belarusian people. He thanked the Russian side for the allied interaction in all areas of co-operation and assured that Belarus’ course of strengthening the alliance and strategic partnership with Russia will continue,” the Belarusian Embassy’s press service noted.
