Beisenbayev: we value friendship and good relations that have developed between Belarus and Kazakhstan

This was noted by Askar Beisenbayev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Belarus, during the Nowruz charity event, organised by the diplomatic staff of the Kazakh embassy for pupils and graduates of Minsk’s orphanage No. 5

“The tradition of our co-operation originated several years ago. Visiting children from the orphanage, we saw that smart and talented, athletic and communicative children are brought up and raised there today; the staff of the institution also left a special impression. These are real patriots, citizens of the republic devoted to their country and profession. This year, we decided to invite them to our embassy for a return visit. We really wanted to give the children a bit of warmth and care, to surround them with our kindness.”

Askar Beisenbayev noted that the reason for the festive meeting was the national holiday Nowruz, which symbolises the arrival of spring and the new year among the Iranian and Turkic peoples. In this connection, the diplomatic workers tried to tell the guests about Kazakhstan and our national traditions, customs, national costumes, show them the embassy building and, most importantly, give them a holiday.

The diplomat pointed out, “Nowruz holiday marks the beginning of good and creative. Today, much is being done in Kazakhstan to ensure that people live better, that there is peace and stability, and that the people live in a calm and developing country, and are confident in their future. And in this the peoples of Belarus and Kazakhstan are similar. By holding this event, we set ourselves the goal of uniting our peoples even closer. Belarus and Kazakhstan have gone through a difficult path of independence, thanks to which there is peace and stability in our states today. We value this, just as we value the friendship and co-operation that exists today between Belarus and Kazakhstan. The fact that this year in Belarus has been declared the Year of Peace and Creation coincides with the mission of our charitable holiday.”
