Beijing urges all parties in Ukraine crisis to exercise restraint
During a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi noted that the evolution of the Ukraine issue so far is closely related to the delay in the effective implementation of the Minsk agreement – as reported by TASS
Wang Yi said that the People’s Republic of China is concerned about the evolution of the situation in Ukraine. Beijing called on all parties in the Ukrainian issue to exercise restraint and resolve differences through negotiations and dialogue.
“China once again calls on all parties to exercise restraint, recognise the importance of implementing the indivisible security principle, ease the situation and resolve differences through dialogue and negotiation,” noted Mr. Wang.
Moreover, the Head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry explained that the evolution of the Ukraine issue so far is closely related to the delay in the effective implementation of the new Minsk agreement.
