Aviation of Belarus’ Emergencies Ministry continues to assist Türkiye in extinguishing forest fires
As of September 25th, two Mi-8 helicopters with spillways and Mi-26 helicopters were on duty in Türkiye – as reported on the website of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry

Over the past week, aviation of the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus carried out extinguishing in the cities of Seferihisar, Marmaris and Kaş. Belarusian aviators also took part in extinguishing this year’s largest forest fires in the area of the cities of Izmir, Antalya and Alanya.
According to the Emergencies Ministry, in total, since the beginning of their mission, Belarusian aviators have completed 200 sorties with a total flight time of 330 hours, more than 970 water discharges and 4,065 tonnes of water have been dropped on fires.
