Andreichenko: deputies should actively engage in work over Belarusian People’s Congress draft

“We are now responsible for preparation of the Belarusian People's Congress draft, and the work is underway already,” the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Vladimir Andreichenko, addressed deputies

“All deputies need to get involved in this process and to make proposals to the Standing Commission on State Building, Local Self Government and Regulations on this draft. We will have to take a very careful and comprehensive approach to updating the laws on the National Assembly, the status of a deputy of the House of Representatives and a member of the Council of the Republic. After working out these drafts, we will step up to a serious work regarding the House of Representatives’ rules and regulations. We should consider these issues at our next session,” Mr. Andreichenko said.
