Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Belarus to be appointed within next months
The Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Belarus will be appointed within the next few months – as stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe, Frederick Shava, after a meeting with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA reports
During the current visit of the Zimbabwean delegation, headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, it was announced that the official work of the embassy of this country in Belarus had begun. Journalists asked when to expect the appointment of the ambassador of this country.
“There is already an embassy of Belarus in Zimbabwe. On the principles of reciprocity, Zimbabwe recently also opened its embassy in Minsk. We have now decided on the work on the arrangement of the premises where the embassy is located, and this process will be completed as quickly as possible. Only after that our ambassador will be appointed. This will happen not in the too distant future, but within the next few months,” said Frederick Shava.
