Ambassador: Belarusian education highly valued in China
As noted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China, Yuri Senko, in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel, 8,000 Chinese young people study in Belarus now – even despite the pandemic
Slightly fewer Belarusians study in China – primarily due to restrictions on entry to this country because of the pandemic.
“Joint programmes are being launched by universities of Belarus and China, and about ten of them have already been organised – becoming a new form of interaction. Belarusian education is really highly valued among Chinese residents, and many of them wish to study in our country. In this regard, I would like to stress that Belarusian universities are especially attentive to training of Chinese specialists so that they receive a really good product: a diploma with deep knowledge of a particular subject," the diplomat noted.
