Ambassador: Belarus-India relations will enjoy wonderful future
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus, Alok Ranjan Jha, took part in the opening of the Shiva-Shakti exhibition in Minsk, noting that the show does not simply reflect the artistic view of Belarusian artists on India
“I have got acquainted with the works and can assert that the artists managed to capture the essence of India and reflect it in their works,” the diplomat said.
Alok Ranjan Jha added that the past thirty years of Belarus-India relations have been very fruitful, “No matter what aspect you look at – be it trade or cultural relations, there is significant progress everywhere. As for the future, we can talk much, but – to put it briefly – the future will be wonderful.”
According to the diplomat, negotiations are underway to launch the Minsk-Delhi flight. “Of course, there are difficulties on both sides, but I believe this project will be a success,” he stressed.
Alok Ranjan Jha noted that, in 2022, many joint cultural events were held, and a gala concert will be organised in late March to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and India.
