Ali Khamenei: countries under US sanctions should co-operate with each other
On March 13th, the President of Belarus met during his official visit to Iran with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and that meeting closed a busy day of the Belarusian leader’s negotiations. As reported by Islamic Republic News Agency, during his meeting with Aleksandr Lukashenko, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged the countries under sanctions to take collective measures to neutralise the restrictions imposed.
“The countries that are under US sanctions should co-operate with each other and form a joint assembly to destroy the weapons of sanctions. We believe this is achievable. Tough sanctions forced Iran to learn about its capabilities and internal forces. Over this time, sanctions have served as the basis for many developments in Iran, and our country has been able to achieve outstanding success in various fields, including science and technology, medicine and biology, aerospace science, nuclear and nanotechnology," Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated.
