The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated workers of the education sphere on Teacher's Day
As noted by the Head of State, throughout the centuries-old history of the Belarusian people, teaching has been among the most noble and creative professions – akin to self-sacrifice. “Spirituality, enlightenment, and veneration of men of science were laid by our ancestors as the basis of national education and upbringing – becoming a true heritage of the country,” the congratulatory message reads.
“By maintaining continuity and dedication to your work, love for children and loyalty to your native land, you are creating the future of Belarus – which consists of the achievements of your pupils,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said. “I am convinced that, together with you, we will multiply all the best in our national education system, and the proud title of teacher, supported by your talents, pedagogical wisdom and professional experience, will always enjoy the highest authority, deep respect and great love of millions of Belarusian children and their parents.”
The President wished all workers of the education sphere and their families good health, happiness and prosperity.
