Aleinik meets Indian Ambassador
Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik has met with Alok Ranjan Jha, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Belarus – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
“The two sides discussed topical issues of Belarusian-Indian relations, as well as interaction within the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation, taking into account India’s chairmanship in the SCO,” the Ministry informed.
During the meeting particular attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements following the results of the 11th session of the Belarusian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission, aimed at further expanding interaction in trade, economy, science, technology and culture.
The press service clarified that during the meeting, mutual interest in intensifying liaisons between Belarus and India across various levels was confirmed.
