Air defence along Belarus’ state border strengthened

The country has strengthened its air defence along the state border perimeter – as informed by the Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence Forces for Ideological Work, Colonel Anatoly Bulavko

“Following the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, President Aleksandr Lukashenko, we have strengthened our air defence forces on duty. This move has enabled us to increase the effectiveness of the entire air defence. At present, hundreds of military servicemen are monitoring the air situation along the entire outer contour of the state border," Mr. Bulavko explained.

The officer added that the military and their family members are now being negatively influenced through online means.

“Any attempts to demoralise the Air Force and Air Defence Forces servicemen are absolutely hopeless. We are not doing anything which would make us be ashamed for. We are on our own land. We are protecting our sky and peaceful work of our people," he stressed.
