African Benin interested in Belarusian dairy products
The African city of Benin is interested in buying Belarusian dairy products, BelTA reports with reference to the Agriculture and Food Ministry’s press service
Belarus’ Agriculture and Food Minister, Igor Brylo, held a working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Benin to the Republic of Belarus (with residence in Moscow), Akambi Andre Okounlola-Biaou.
“Benin produces cotton, corn, mango, cashews. The country is interested in increasing its production and purchasing Belarusian dairy products. To this end, the issue of prospects for the development of bilateral co-operation and consulting by the Belarusian side in the field of agriculture was studied,” the press service commented.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the participation of a Beninese delegation in the Prodexpo-2022 exhibition – scheduled to be held in Minsk in November. Guests will there be able to get acquainted with activities of the Belarusian agro-industrial complex.
