About 20 official delegations from abroad to visit Minsk on City Day

Guests will arrive from fourteen regions of Russia, as well as from Armenia and Kazakhstan. As part of the festive events, they will visit the largest Belarusian enterprises – such as MAZ, Amkodor, and Kommunarka.

“Agreements will be signed between the government of the Murmansk Region and Belarus on co-operation in trade, economy, sci-tech and socio-cultural areas. In addition, Minsk will sign an agreement with Sevastopol and a memorandum on further development of twinning relations with Novosibirsk,” Tatiana Selivonchik, the Deputy Chairperson of the Economy Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, has informed.

As part of the City Day, an International Forum of Economic Co-operation will be held at the National Library on September 9th – gathering more than 100 foreign guests from Turkey, Uzbekistan, Palestine, Pakistan, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam. An exhibition of Minsk’s industrial sector featuring the equipment of a dozen of state-run and private manufacturers will be organised there on September 8th-9th.
