The Ukrainian Defence Minister said that about 28-29 percent of NATO regulatory legal acts have also been adopted in the country. “There are more than 1,200 NATO standards, and most countries have 28-32 percent of them. There are also countries with 2 or 8 percent. Actually, it is not of major significance. For example, if Ukraine does not have its own space, it cannot have space standards as a result. We have already implemented about 20 percent of NATO standards, and about 28-29 percent of regulatory legal acts have been adopted," he added.

According to Mr. Reznikov, there are already agreements with partners on 180 more NATO standards that the Ukrainian side is able to implement.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will attend the alliance summit in Vilnius on July 11th-12th. As he informed, at least two issues important for Kiev will be put on the agenda: NATO countries will once again express their readiness to provide military assistance, and they will also discuss a plan for Ukraine's transition from ‘the Soviet standards and doctrines to NATO ones’.
