Lukashenko agreed on appointment of new heads of local authorities

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has agreed on the appointment of new heads of local authorities, BelTA reports

Aleksandr Komendant has been approved for the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee. Until now, he has served as Chairman of the Economy Committee at the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

Aleksandr Novikov will assume the role of Chairman of the Gomel District Executive Committee. Before this, he headed Gomselmash JSC.

Vladimir Antonenko will now lead the Zhitkovichi District Executive Committee, having formerly headed the Narovlya District Executive Committee.

In turn, the Narovlya District Executive Committee will now be headed by Denis Yadchenko. Prior to this new appointment, he has served as Deputy Chairman of the Narovlya District Executive Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

Nikolai Klimenok has been approved for the position of Chairman of the Loev District Executive Committee. Previously, he has served as Deputy Chairman of the Agriculture and Food Committee at the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

Yuri Kostolomov will take charge of the Zelva District Executive Committee. Until recently, he has worked as Director of the Khanchitsy-Neman municipal unitary enterprise in the Svisloch District.

Andrei Gordei has been appointed Chairman of the Smorgon District Executive Committee, having previously held the same position in the Korelichi District.

Aleksandr Kurilo will now lead the Korelichi District. Before this appointment, he has served as First Deputy Chairman and Head of the Agriculture and Food Department at the Berestovitsa District Executive Committee.
