227 Belarusian women awarded Order of Mother
On October 2nd, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, signed Decree No. 309 on awarding the Order of Mother, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports
For giving birth and upbringing of five or more children, ladies from all walks of Belarusian life were awarded, including representatives of industrial and agro-industrial enterprises, the construction sphere and the banking sector, the food, transport and tourist fields, the housing and communal services, forestry, consumer co-operation, trade and communication, educational institutions, healthcare, culture and the Investigative Committee, as well as individual entrepreneurs and housewives.
In total, the Order of Mother has been conferred on 227 women from all Belarusian regions and the city of Minsk.
