206 Belarusian women awarded Order of Mother

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has signed Decree No. 56 on awarding the Order of the Mother – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

For giving birth and upbringing of five or more children, ladies from all walks of life were awarded, including representatives of industrial and agro-industrial enterprises, the construction industry, the banking sector, organisations of the food industry, transport and taxation, housing and communal services, road industry, forestry, consumer co-operation, trade and communications, educational institutions, healthcare, culture, the State Border Committee and the Armed Forces, as well as individual entrepreneurs and housewives.

In total, the Order of Mother has been conferred on 206 women from all regions of Belarus and the city of Minsk.
