Lukashenko denied rumours about possibility of buying fake military service cards
Speaking with journalists today, the President of Belarus answered a question about the appearance of advertising firms on social networks that offer conscripts to purchase fake military service cards without serving in the army
“We’re checking. These are mostly fakes. It is impossible in Belarus. A person received a military service card, but we will still find them, because all those liable for military service are assigned to some units in the military registration and enlistment offices. Sooner or later, it will come out and God forbid that this fact becomes a reality. You know what will happen.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko added, “We do not yet have facts that someone has issued a military service card to someone.”
The President also underlined that a real man should be able to protect his family, if necessary, “I say, God forbid, war breaks out and you will have a husband who cannot protect you and the house. Why such a man who cannot distinguish a pistol from a machine gun?”
