Lukashenko congratulates Belarusians on Constitution Day

Dear compatriots! Today we are celebrating Constitution Day.

In the Year of Peace and Creation, this holiday takes on a special significance.

The Basic Law of the country reflects the centuries-old desire of Belarusians to determine their own path of development, to live in an independent state, and to ensure the well-being of society through their work.

Updated at a turning point for the country, the Constitution retained the fundamental principles of peace, social justice, respect for the achievements of the past, the continuity of the traditional values of the Belarusian people, and became a reliable basis for strengthening social unity and socio-political stability, as well as well-coordinated and effective work of all branches of power.

In modern geopolitical conditions, steadfast adherence to the provisions of the Basic Law serves as a reliable guarantee of protecting national interests, strengthening the legal foundation of the Belarusian statehood, making us even stronger and more successful.

I congratulate all citizens of Belarus on Constitution Day! May our native country always be peaceful, prosperous and flourishing!
