119 Belarusian women awarded Order of Mother

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, signed Decree No. 201 on awarding the Order of Mother, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

For giving birth and upbringing of five or more children, ladies from all walks of Belarusian life were awarded, including representatives of industrial and agro-industrial enterprises, the construction sphere and the banking sector, the food, transport and tax fields, the housing and communal services, trade, educational institutions, healthcare, culture, as well as individual entrepreneurs and housewives.

In total, the Order of Mother has been conferred on 119 women from the Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk and Mogilev regions of Belarus.
