In the Year of Culture, Pinsk enthusiasts present their native town by creating a virtual tour through the Museum of Belarusian Polesie
The project is the work of Alexey Kitaev, who heads the Business Catalogue of Pinsk online edition, with photographs by Vladimir Puchinsky. In co-operation with museum employees, they have developed a virtual excursion through the halls of the old building, which once housed the Jesuit College. From anywhere, you may now explore the interior of the Museum of Belarusian Polesie, via the ‘My Pinsk’ website.
Users can access a map of the museum to decide where to set off to, viewing Belarusian and Russian paintings, as well as natural history artefacts, folk items, and those representing city life and the history of the Pinsk area. You may examine panoramic views or zoom in on exhibits.
