Belarusian Anna Guskova placed fourth at FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup held in American Deer Valley

In the finals, Anna occupied third place after her first attempt with 88.83 points. However, Australia’s Danielle Scott in fourth place, made a brilliant second jump; as a result, she moved up to second. The Belarusian’s second attempt was less successful: scoring 81.49 points set her back to fourth position.

Gold went to China’s Zhang Xin and bronze was won by America’s Ashley Caldwell. The second Belarusian, Alexandra Romanovskaya, reached the finals from qualification in the second stage of the World Cup; however, she was placed 12th in the final stage.

Amongst the men, Belarus’ Maxim Gustik came ninth, while gold went to Russia’s Piotr Medulich; the latter was ahead of Ukrainian Alexander Abramenko (silver) and Naoya Tabara (bronze).

The fifth World Cup stage will be hosted by Moscow, on February 13th. On February 20th, the best ski acrobats will perform in the Olympic Raubichi Sports Complex. The event will end on February 27th, in the Spanish Sierra Nevada.
