The airline company has extended the opportunity of buying tickets through the Internet. On the company website, a new option has appeared — the sale of tickets on flights of airline companies to destinations where Belavia doesn’t make direct flights.
The press-service has summed up the work for this year and noted that July has become a record month in many areas. For the first time, the airline carried more than 300,000 passengers in a month (up almost 30 percent compared with July 2013). On July, 31st, they carried the biggest number of passengers in a day in their entire history — 11,061 people.
According to the opinion of representatives of Belavia, the increase has become possible thanks to the flexible policy of attracting transit passengers, which is being conducted by the Airline Company and Minsk National Airport. The transit attraction of Belavia has significantly increased, particularly after the reconstruction of the capital’s airport. Two mentioned enterprises, together with ‘Minsk-2’ Custom House, have worked out a new technology to service passengers. According to it, transit passengers who transfer in Minsk’s airport cannot get luggage in Minsk. In the last month, Belavia has conducted 3,077 flights, including 1,995 regular flights.
For January-July, almost 1.1 million passengers have used Belavia’s services, almost a quarter more than for the first seven months of last year. On July, 24th the millionth passenger was registered on a flight. Last year, Belavia reached the million boundary one month later.
