Together Against Terrorism

Belarus advocates intensification of antiterror and is ready to strengthen cooperation in bilateral, regional and universal levels in accordance with UN Charter
This was stated by Alexander Lukashenko during the signing of International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism held in New York in the context of UN General Assembly summit.
"Belarus is exceedingly apprehensive of terrorism expansion. It is a Barbaric infringement on life, peace and order on the globe. And this requires decisive actions," President emphasized. Alexander Lukashenko expressed his confidence that joint resistance to terrorism should be truly global, universal and consistent. Alongside with that, fighting this terrible phenomenon cannot be the reason for certain states to fulfill their sordid motives. "By no means should antiterrorism serve as cover for intervention in internal affairs of sovereign states," he declared.
As a result of signing International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism Belarus joins all without exception antiterrorism international agreements concluded within the frame of UN.
