After defeat by French Guingamp (0:2) in the Europa League, Dinamo Minsk has lost its chance to reach the play-offs, although it will endeavour to prove its worth across its two remaining matches in Group K, asserts head coach Vladimir Zhuravel

He believes that his squad could have beaten Guingamp in their away match, had they realised a missed goal near the end of the first half and a penalty immediately as the second half began. The Minskers rushed into attack towards the close of the match, but failed to sufficiently defend Alexander Gutor’s net, with almost no time left to equalise.

Mr. Zhuravel emphasises that the team will battle hard in its next Europa League match, against Greek PAOK, on November 27th. Hosted by Borisov-Arena, it will give the squad the chance to take revenge for defeat in Thessaloniki — 1:6. Dinamo’s final match is scheduled for December 11th, in Florence, facing the leader of the group: Italian Fiorentina (previously victorious in Borisov — 0:3).
