"American Indians Show" was a celebratory present for Minsk Zoo on its birthday. Traditionally the zoo invited Minsk residents as well as visitors to the capital on this day. The show included Latin-American dances and songs about the facility. That day the zoo hosted a "Crafts Camp", an animal parade took place at the playground. Young horse fans could enjoy an exclusive jockeyship program.
Today there are over animal species in the zoo, including rare and exotic breeds. The number of pets grows with every passing year. Recent years the zoo enlarged its display with a Far-East leopard, an Amur tiger, a Bennet kangaroo, stripe and yellow mongooses, peccaries, toques, fruit-bats, king adders and African lions.
