Belenergo and Slovenian Kolektor ETRA agree to launch manufacture of contemporary power transformers
The Belarusian Production Association Belenergo and Slovenia’s largest power engineering company, Kolektor ETRA, are in negotiation to assimilate modern technologies for making power transformers -- using facilities at Beloozersk Energy Mechanical Plant.
A preliminary agreement was reached during the fourth session of the Belarusian-Slovenian intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and sci-tech co-operation, held in Ljubljana. A Belarusian delegation, led by Belenergo Director General Yevgeny Voronov, visited Kolektor ETRA’s power transformer factory in Ljubljana, to see state-of-the-art European technologies in action, making power transformers. After consultations, it was agreed to use Slovenian technologies to modernise the Beloozersk-based factory.
