She came first in exercises with the ball, clubs and ribbon while finishing third in the exercise with the hoop. Melitina won the individual all-round competition, earning 70,749 points. The qualifying tournament in Brazil became an important stage of preparation for the Olympic Games for Melitina Stanyuta. Belarusian ‘graces’ have already won the maximum number of tickets to the Olympiad: these are owned by Melitina Stanyuta, Yekaterina Galkina and the national team in group exercises.
