By the intensity of the emotions, this game could not exactly be compared to a friendly match

Georgy Kondratiev’s team started their match against the southern team very actively and in the 5th minute, Igor Stasevich was face-to-face with the goalkeeper. The Tajik defender, Naim Ulmasov, knocked him down and wassent off. The ‘injured’ player took his penalty kick brilliantly, opening the score for the Belarusian national team’s goals at the new Borisov-Arena. After this, the Belarusians reduced their pace for some reason, enabling the guests to equalise the score in the 34th minute after Fatkhullo Fatkhuloev’s precise kick. In the second half, Kondratiev substituted three fresh players who immediately raised the tempo. The most active of them — a newcomer of the French Metz, Sergey Krivets — took part in the four goal attacks. At first, he successfully assisted Sergey Kornilenko and then scored himself; after that, Sergey Kislyak and Ilya Alexievich each scored after receiving Krivets’ exact passes. The Tajik footballers almost gave up after the second goal and suffered a large defeat.

The meeting with the Tajik team became a general rehearsal for the Belarusian footballers before the start of the selection tournament of 2016 European Championship.
