HC Meshkov Brest loses group stage match in League of Champions but remains in with a chance
In the first Group A match, playing away, the champions of Belarus lost to Spanish HC Logroño — 31:39. After playing equally only in the beginning of the meeting the guests lost the initiative by the middle of the first period and finally were defeated by the hosts. Belarusian squad’s Rastko Stojković scored nine goals, while Sergey Shilovich claimed seven.
The next match is scheduled for October 4th, at Brest’s Victoria Sports Complex: HC Meshkov Brest will face Metalurg.
