Wildlife park planned for near Avgustovsky Canal

Covering 127 hectares, the open-air wildlife park is planned for Grodno’s Forest Preserve, near Kadysh settlement and the Avgustovsky Canal, housing around 100 European fallow deer and red deer, brought from forestries across Belarus.

An ecological path is planned, to allow visitors to view the deer in a natural habitat; special buses are likely to be organised, for those with less mobility (or time).

The project aims to help diversify services for tourists coming to the Avgustovsky Canal.
