HC Brest Meshkov handballers defeat Serbian Vojvodina in SEHA League match

Belarus’ champions conducted the first half of the home match without too much flair, leaving for score at 13:10 in their favour by halftime. However, they took the initiative from the first minutes of the second half, taking a 10 point lead, and eventually winning 34:22. Simon Razgor scored seven times, and Denis Rutenko six. It is the team’s fourth victory in the international league under coach Željko Babić.

So far, Brest Meshkov has defeated Bosnian Borac from Banja Luka (31:27), Croatian Nexe from Našice (29:26) and Serbian Radnički from Kragujevac (29:28) while losing  to Croatian Zagreb (28:29): all home matches.

The position in the SEHA League is as follows: Veszprém (Hungary) — 18 points across 6 matches; Vardar (Macedonia) — 15 points across 6 matches; Tatran (Slovakia) — 12 (6); and Brest Meshkov — 12 points across 5 matches.

The Brest squad is next to play Veszprém — away, on November 5th.
