During the visit, Mr. Molchan went to the South African Parliament, meeting representatives of permanent commissions in trade and industry, to discuss small business development, tourism and finances. The two parties exchanged opinions on prospects to develop Belarusian-RSA co-operation in the above-mentioned spheres, including the use of both countries’ parliamentary potential. South Africa has shown particular interest in setting up joint plants to assemble Belarusian equipment. The parties also discussed the expansion of bilateral inter-parliamentary collaboration.

The Belarusian diplomat met representatives of the Progressive Business Forum of the Republic of South Africa, to talk over new forms of partnership, in order to intensify mutually beneficial trade-economic co-operation, primarily relating to industrial interaction.
