Reconstruction of air terminal complex at National Airport Minsk is complete

Photo: BELTA“We’ve finished our reconstruction of the air terminal at Minsk’s National Airport, offering over 2,000 additional square metres of space, and more comfortable conditions for passengers, including for border guards and customs services,” explains the Deputy Prime Minister, Anatoly Kalinin. Touring the airport, he noted that border control kiosks have more than doubled in number.

Mr. Kalinin tells us that Br720 billion has been spent, while work has been completed in less than half the originally planned time. He emphasises that Belarusian construction workers have fulfilled their obligations fully, to satisfy even the most demanding of passengers. He underlines that airport modernisation will continue, including transport infrastructure, and the construction of a second runway: commencing in 2015 and completed within two years.
