Belarus views collaboration with Russian regions as experience of the Union State development
On June 7th-8th, Minsk will be hos-ting the 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, with the possible participation of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
The strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, alongside deep and all-round integration, are priority areas of our countries’ foreign policy. Belarus views collaboration with Russian regions as one of the most important elements of strategic interaction, opening up wide opportunities for the implementation of agreed and well-targe-ted socio-economic policy in the Union State.
The Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia has become a comfortable and popular place for open discussion between businesses, power and society across the most acute areas of cooperation between our two states. The programme of the 3rd Forum of Regions is vast and diverse. We hope that this will be a constructive exchange of opinions dealing with issues of the development of socio-humanitarian ties and interaction in the spheres of industry and agriculture. Initiatives and recommendations, commercial projects and contracts, detailed as part of the Forum, will benefit the socio-economic development of our two countries, while enhancing the well-being of the Belarusian and Russian nations.
We invite all those interested to take part in this event..
