Belarusbank JSC has again proven its title of Belarus’ number one bank in terms of Tier 1 capital in 2014 and is up by 2 positions in the list of the 25 largest banks of Central and Eastern Europe, now occupying 12th place
Its success is affirmed by the rating of the international specialist publication — The Banker (Financial Times). The Belarusian bank believes that its successful ranking is due to the consistent policy of shareholders and the bank to expand business, aimed at increasing sustainability. According to the rating, last year, Belarusbank was ranked 400th among 1,000 of the largest banks in the world, due to its Tier 1 capital worth an equivalent $2,095m.
