Proposals made at exhibition in Czech Republic

Belarusian agrarians present their opportunities at Europe’s largest international specialised food trade fair: Salima-2012, hosted by Czech Brno

Representatives of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Industry have met leading Czech companies to discuss areas of co-operation in such spheres as bread-making, and the meat, milk and confectionery industries.

A presentation of Belarus’ investment opportunities took place and Belarus’ Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Food, Vasily Pavlovsky, met the Deputy Agriculture Minister of the Czech Republic, Martin Hlavacek. There are intentions to expand co-operation between Belarusian and Czech companies in animal farming and plant growing, as well as in veterinary matters and animal breeding. Meanwhile, investment projects involving Czech investors in Belarus are being discussed.
