“Pesnyary”, “Lyube”, and “Khoroshki”

All took part in the festivities timed to the 10th anniversary of the Union of Belarus and Russia. The jubilee was celebrated in Minsk and Moscow
The Day of Unity, April 2, was a real red-letter day. In fact, the whole year was called the year of Belarus and Russia, so there is a well-developed plan of actions that will be taking place throughout 2006 all over the Union State: Minsk and Moscow, Brest and Smolensk, Gomel and Bryansk, and all border regions of the two countries. The key festivities took place on April 3 simultaneously in Minsk and Moscow, the two capital cities. The Presidential Orchestra, the state band “Pesnyary”, the choir of the National Academic Bolshoi Theater, the band “Belye Rosy” and many of Belarus’ leading performers took part in festivities in Minsk. In Moscow, the concert hall “Rossiya” hosted a wonderful performance that involved Larisa Dolina, “Lyube”, “Russkaya Pesnya” and the renowned choreographic team “Khoroshki”.
