Alexandra and Konstantin duo was awarded at Lithuanian song contest in the context of International music festival in Palanga. Belarusian singers won third prize for their song "The Antelope".Alexandra Kirsanova (vocal) learned lyrics in Lithuanian and performed so beautifully that both the audience and the jury acknowledged her pronunciation best among contestants. Representatives of Russia, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Malta, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Latvia, Poland took part in the contest. Additionally, the duo won the audience with the original arrangement of the song. "The Antelope" sounded brand new due ocarina, duo′s cup of tee.
Besides program at Palanga festival, the duo gave concerts in other Lithuanian towns — Nida, Klaipeda and Vilnius.
The musicians brought home many positive emotions and useful contacts. Some producers from Italy, Malta and Bulgaria who were at the festival, got interested in the duo. Several songs by Alexandra and Konstantin as well as Ў°Stairs Of Separation′ video clip will be rotated over radio and TV in these countries in the nearest future.
Additionally, at present the duo are talking with their Lithuanian counterpart; if they obtain agreement in principle of "The Antelope" authors, the English version of the song will be included in Alexandra and Konstantin new album expected to be released this year.
