The new building of the National Library of the Republic of Belarus is to have its own Museum of the Book
The rarities will be placed on mounts in special containers with the necessary temperature, humidity and lighting. Only experts wearing special gloves are allowed to touch the rare books. Besides manuscripts of the 16–17 centuries the collection of the museum has a number of books from personal libraries of famous Belarusians with autographs.
