Belarus’ Inna Vinnik recognised as the best teacher of the Russian language at the world festival


Belarus’ Inna Vinnik, teacher of Russian language and literature was recognised as the best specialist teacher at the world festival of the Russian language. She works at the Snov secondary school in the Nesvizh District of the Minsk Region. About 30 thousand pupils, students and teachers from 80 countries around the world took part in the festival. In total, following the results of theoretical tests and a creative competition, over 300 fans of Russian literature appeared in the final.

The competition took place in St. Petersburg, held by the International Association of Teachers of the Russian Language and Literature with the support of the Russian World Fund.

Inna Vinnik has previously been a superfinalist in the Republican competition Belarus’ Teacher of the Year in the ‘Russian Language and Literature, Belarusian Language and Literature’ nomination. To add to her acclaim, this year she has been recognised as ‘Person of the Year of the Minsk Region in 2014’.
