While the Museum of History of the Great Patriotic War became a platform for carrying out of the Minsk regional patriotic action devoted to the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from fascist aggressors, and the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Similar actions have indispensable attributes. The main thing was the laying of wreaths at the monuments of our Victory and words of severance of respected veterans. Perhaps, they are those people who can find the words which will aim new generations at future achievements; and where should one speak about spiritually moral ideals, especially in the year of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus, if not in the Hall of Victory of the museum? The Deputy Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Yushkevich, is sure that the feat, which was made by our grandfathers, is the most outstanding example for modern youth.

Among visitors to the museum, nobody was so worried as those five boys and girls from Fanipol’s gymnasium. They became pioneers on this day. Separate honours to the pacesetters of the harvesting campaign and the winners of competitions among youth harvesting crews of the Minsk Region. Guys, according to organisers, worked really hard.

“Certainly, it is pleasant to receive awards. But I simply like to harvest corn. Tiredness? Combine harvesters do not allow you to be tired. The conditioner in my Gomselmash works and I feel cool. I feel well and it means that it is harvested well. I have a good fellow-worker. He is the senior combine operator who three times participated in regional Dazhynki. And I learn from him,” said the combine operator of Podlesie-2003 of the Slutsk District, Vitaly Abelets, as he shared his feelings with journalists.
