Settlements which have most contributed to the development of culture and tourism are to be highlighted: the country’s best regional centre, best city of regional subordination, best urban settlement and best agro-town will be named. The aim is to increase awareness of wonderful cultural work, and to promote tourism, to local citizens and visitors from further afield.
Many interesting projects are being realised across the regions and many towns host dazzling festivals, reviving folk crafts and offering tours. There are so many opportunities for us to discover more about Belarusian customs and traditions, bringing entertainment, and enlightenment.
