MEETING FRIENDS

Delegation from Clermont-Ferrand (France) visited their sister town Gomel; the French party was represented by “Voices of the world” association led by president Ellen Delage. About 20 tutors and students of conservatory and music schools were among the delegates.

Gomel city authorities hosted the French visitors.
During the meeting both parties discussed creative views that have been linking “Voices of the world” with Peter Tchaikovsky children music school #1 for 12 years already. During that period various music festivals with many companies and performers from Gomel were arranged in Clermont-Ferrand initiated by Ellen Delage.

Reciprocal concerts with participation of French musicians have been repeatedly held in Gomel.

These creative contacts are most likely to go on in future, as agreed by both parties at public function in Gomel town-hall.

Visit agenda was full of creative events, including goodwill concert “Gomel – Clermont-Ferrand”, creative meeting with Folk choir, and participation in jubilee concert of “Bylina” ensemble.
