The National Agency of Investment and Privatisation, together with financial consultants, has completed the process of the preparation of the Baranovichi Reinforced Concrete Products Plant for the attraction of a strategic investor
At the session of the interdepartmental commission, financial consultant experts introduced the results of the diagnostics of the enterprise. The commission approved the strategy of the attraction an investor. They considered the results of financial, operational and legal analysis of the activity of the enterprise, analysis of investment risks, independent estimation of the cost of shares in accordance with international and national standards.
Information regarding the start of the collection of the first applications from interested potential investors concerning the Baranovichi Reinforced Concrete Products Plant will be published in the near future in domestic and foreign mass-media.
The financial consultants on enterprises of construction branch is a consortium of KPMG Tanácsadó Kft. (Hungary), KPMG JSC (Belarus), Stepanovski, Papakul & Partners (Belarus), Raidla Lejins & Norcous lawyer’s office (Lithuania).
It is necessary to note that the pilot project on the attraction of strategic investors to state enterprises is being realised by the National Agency of Investment and Privatisation with the support of the World Bank, and is directed to the introduction in Belarus of advanced world practice in the given sphere. The project provides the attraction of a financial adviser with wide experience of working effectively in other countries.
